Au Lapin Agile (The Agile Rabit), 1904
Pablo Picasso
Tolouse Lautrec inflenced, anyone?
Early Picasso’s are so fascinating because he is influenced by so many artists from Delicroix to van Gogh, to Tolouse Lautrec, and so on. He was like a sponge absorbing anything he could on his visits to Paris from Spain. (He didn’t actually live in Paris until mid-1904).
