Ugh, Dali.

In honor of Valentine’s Day, artists and their muses…
Salvador Dali & Gala Dali
So I just got done watching the film The Exterminating Angel (1962) by Spanish surrealist, Luis Buñuel.
I was watching Midnight in Paris earlier and Gil encounters is Buñuel. Gil gives him an idea for a film about a dinner party where no one can leave the room.
And that is exactly what this film is. A group of people gather for a dinner party and for an unknown reason no one can leave the room that they are in. As days pass the visuals become more surreal - they are at their peak when everyone takes morphine. Basically, everyone ends up going crazy.
If you’re interested in seeing it for yourself, you can watch it subtitled in english on youtube here in 7 different parts.
Has anyone else seen it? Thoughts?
This is my Persistence of Memory tattoo the day I got it so please excuse the blood.
